Jesse Tapsfield is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a certified firearms instructor with extensive experience in law enforcement and tactical training. He holds certifications as a LE Handgun Instructor, Patrol Rifle Instructor, Active Shooter Response Instructor, TASER Instructor, and Police Ground Fighting Instructor .
Emphasizes strict safety practices in all firearm handling, storage, and live-fire drills to build confident, responsible shooters.

This full-day course meets all requirements of HB24-1174 for first-time applicants applying for their Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP).
Course Includes:
Safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition
Firearm safety and shooting fundamentals
Federal & Colorado firearm laws, including recent legislation
Use of deadly force for self-defense
Conflict avoidance, de-escalation, and judgmental use of force
Interacting safely with law enforcement as a permit holder
Written competency exam and live-fire shooting qualification
Certificate of completion provided for CHP application
YOU MUST HOLD A VALID (NON-EXPIRED) CONCEALED HANDGUN PERMIT IN THE STATE OF COLORADO TO TAKE THIS CLASS.
This course satisfies the Colorado renewal training requirements under HB24-1174.
